First Aid at Work training course

Aqua Vale Swimming & Fitness Centre is running an HSE approved First Aid at Work course (FAW) from Wednesday 22^nd to Friday 24^th September 2010.

All successful candidates will be issued with a FAW certificate valid for 3 years.

This FAW course covers

• All aspects of basic life support including CPR
• Bleeding
• Unconsciousness
• Choking
• Head injuries
• Sprains and strains
• A vast range of First Aid conditions that you may experience in the workplace.

Would you like to train as a Lifeguard?

Aqua Vale Swimming & Fitness Centre is running a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) Course in the October Half Term school holiday - Monday 25th October to Saturday 30th October 2010. Assessment date to be confirmed.

You will learn:

• Rescue Skills
• Supervisory Skills
• Pool Rules
• First Aid
• CPR

This qualification means you can work at any pool in the country as a Lifeguard. It is an important job can you do it?
